A Life Without Music

The Solitude of Silence

Many of what are now considered to be the most significant works of art were not commercially popular during the lifetime of the artist. The world would be far poorer without the works of Johann Sebastian Bach, Paul Cezanne and Franz Kafka.

"Music is the mediator between the spiritual and the sensual life." ~ Ludwig van Beethoven

Life without music is not as rich as with it. The opportunity to listen is never far away, and the gift of making music can be part of everyone's experience.

"Music is your own experience, your thoughts, your wisdom. If you don't live it, it won't come out of your horn." ~ Charlie Parker

If you are not confident with the sound of your voice, sing when no one is around and you will experience the immeasurable power of music.

"Music expresses that which cannot be said and on which it is impossible to be silent." ~ Victor Hugo

Sing and you will be happy.
